We are
located about 30 miles southwest of Augusta, Georgia near the Fall Line
Hwy (Hwy 88) between Augusta and Macon.
I’ve been in real
estate and retail for over 30 years. In today’s world this is one
exciting marketplace. I started in real estate in the early 1980’s while serving
in the US Navy as an air traffic control tower operator at Hensley
Field, NAS Dallas, Texas.
While serving in Texas, a friend,
Tom Skeie and I bought the first RE/Max office in Arlington, Texas.
After a plane crash enroute to Georgia from Texas, I sold my partnership
and later started Stewart Real Estate Company.
In the early 1990’s I move to the
Atlanta, Georgia area and again served with RE/Max until accepting a Realty
Specialist position with US Department of Housing and Urban
Development. I also served as a Loan Specialist, Development
Specialist and Equal Opportunity Specialist until retiring in
2001.

On a personal level, I am a
father and grandfather. I also am
an ordained minister and member of the Southern Baptist Convention. I
recently served bi-vocationally a country church in south Georgia
called Little Ochlocknee Baptist Church as their pastor for five years.
I have also served bi-vocationally as a local pastor in the United
Methodist Church for over 12 years. My wife, Hilda and I are the
proud parents of five children, my daughter Madison and her children
Chelsea and the twins, Alex and Gracie; my son, Michael and his wife
Kimberley, their children Wesley Grant,Sally Marie, Krisa
Elizabeth; and my daughter Elizabeth and her husband Joe Nelson, and my
daughter Brooke and my son Brent and his wife Kelly.
